Diocese of Etche concludes her 2nd Diocesan Mother’s Union Conference

The Biennial conference of the Mother’s Union of the Diocese of Etche was concluded on Sunday, 10th October, 2021. The Conference/camp meeting which comprises of delegates from across the 14 archdeaconries in the diocese was indeed a huge success.

The conference started on Thursday, 7th October, held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Chokota Etche. Speaking on the theme of the conference, THE HARVEST IS PLENTUFUL. Text: , the guest speaker, Mrs. Patience Ide (Mama, Warri Diocese) instructed according to God’s word to be effective and more useful to the church and the society, doing all they ought to do at all times, she also added;

The boy-child has been neglected when it comes to home training. Mothers strive to ensure that every male child around you gets to impact for a godly livelihood here on earth.

Mama Oganihi Etche expressed immense joy, giving all thanks and praise to God for a successful conference held in 2021. She further congratulated all the mothers for their support and presence during the conference, adding that without them, the 2021 Mother’s Union wouldn’t be a success.

The mothers participated in different competitions; Match pass, Singing and Cooking competitions, as well as awards presented to some archdeaconries for early Quota payment and conference registration.
