SERVICE OF CONFIRMATION AND INDUCTION AT ST. PHILIP’S ANGLICAN CHURCH

On Saturday, 25th of September, 2021, Anglican faithfuls and other Christian believers gathered to witness the service of Confirmation and induction as the order of the Apostles was.

The sacramental service which was held at St. Philip’s Anglican Church Umuebulu 2 Etche LGA was celebrated by His Lordship, Rt. Revd. Okechukwu Precious Nwala JP, Bishop Diocese of Etche. The Bishop was prior welcome by the stackholders of the the Etche East archdeaconry led by the Archdeacon, Ven. Godson Ozioma Ukaegbu.

The Bishop ministering in his sermon from the gospel of Luke 4:38-44, admonished the congregation to hold fast hope in God and follow purpose as found in the Almighty in order to overcome the world’s challenges and it’s attributes.

The service of Confirmation and induction had about 75 participants who were confirmed, 8 women indicted into the Mother’s Union and about 20 women inducted into the Women’s Guild of the Diocese of Etche.
